Surrogacy
on the
Big Island

Many people think surrogacy is only possible if you live on the mainland or Oahu.

With the right support, Big Island residents can become parents through surrogacy.

The Hawaii Surrogacy Center also encourages women on the Big Island to become surrogates.

Receive ongoing support, guidance, and access to resources throughout the pregnancy and birth. Surrogates must travel to Honolulu for their embryo transfer procedure, but many appointments can be completed locally.

As part of our agency services, Hawaii Surrogacy Center provides inter-island travel booking services. We will take care of accommodations and transportation during visits to Honolulu. Surrogates do not have to pay for their own travel and also receive a per diem allowance to cover meals and incidental expenses.

Learn more about our surrogate compensation package here.

Birth

Big Island surrogates give birth at either North Hawai'i Community Hospital, Kona Community Hospital or Hilo Medical Center. Travel to Oahu is not necessary for delivery. We have plenty of experience with the family court on the Big Island, ensuring that the Intended Parents’ names are placed on the birth certificate.
